Plain terms for a small tool site. If something here is unclear, ask: hello@lenscrunch.com.

1. Who we are

LensCrunch is operated by Liu Guohua, an individual seller (the "we" and "us" below). Contact: hello@lenscrunch.com. These terms cover lenscrunch.com and the LensCrunch Pro software.

2. The free tools

The calculators and references on this site are free to use, with no account. They are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. They perform optical geometry and arithmetic on the numbers you type in.

• They are not medical or optometric advice, not a fitting, and not a substitute for your optometrist's or optician's judgement.
• You are responsible for how you use the results, and for any decision you take on the back of them.
• We may change, move or withdraw a tool at any time. Nothing here is a promise to keep a page online.

3. LensCrunch Pro: what you are buying

LensCrunch Pro is a single computer file (an HTML file that runs in your browser) that builds dispensing reports. The price is the one shown on the product page at the moment you order, charged once. It is not a subscription: there is no account, nothing recurring, and no per-report charge.

After payment you receive an email with the download link. There is no licence key to enter and nothing to activate — the file itself is what you are buying, so keep it somewhere you will find it again.

4. Your licence

When you pay, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use that file. You may:

• install and use it on your own devices, including a computer at your shop;
• use it in your own business as often as you like, for as long as you like;
• give the reports it produces to your customers, in print or as a PDF;
• put your own logo, shop name and terms on those reports.

You may not sell, resell, publish, redistribute, share or sublicense the file itself, or pass it on to other businesses, and you may not remove its copyright notice. The file is readable text; we simply ask you to treat a licence as covering one business's use.

5. Payment

Payment is processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for the sale. Their buyer terms also apply to the transaction, and they handle the taxes and receipts. We never see or store your card details. If your payment is refused, no licence is granted.

6. Refunds

LensCrunch Pro is delivered immediately as a file that can be copied, so all sales are final: there is no refund for a change of mind. Our refund policy sets out the three cases we always refund — the file never arrived, a fault we cannot fix, or a duplicate charge.

7. Updates

If we publish an update to LensCrunch Pro, existing buyers get it at no extra charge. We do not promise any particular schedule, and we do not promise any particular future feature.

8. Your data

Everything you enter into LensCrunch Pro — your price list, your customer records, your logo — stays on your own computer. The app makes no network requests. We never receive it, which also means we cannot recover it for you: use the Export feature to keep your own backup. See the privacy policy.

9. Limits of liability

LensCrunch is an arithmetic and document tool. We are not liable for:

• a dispensing, fitting or clinical decision, or for a report you choose to hand to a customer;
• a lab's or supplier's error, or a price you entered;
• indirect losses, lost profit or lost data.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to LensCrunch Pro is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force for your purchase of LensCrunch Pro is the one published on this page at the time you bought it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer right you have in the country where you live, and if something is wrong please write to us first — most things are settled with an email.
